On 2nd and 3rd September 2021 an international conference about nature conservation and abandoned military areas was held in Brno. Over 60 people took part. Contributions were heard from biologists, researchers and people who have experience in the care of both former and active military areas. Speakers from Hungary, Slovakia and Czech Republic shared their experience with different ways of conservation management. Participants also visited Pánov, Načeratický kopec and Havranické vřesoviště during the field trip.
