Young volunteers from all over the Czech Republic were helping at Pánov after the tornado hit neighbouring village

Pánov village was one of the places damaged by the tornado in the end of June 2021. At the beginning of July 2 - 7, 2021 we have organized a volunteer action in cooperation with youth organisation Hnutí Brontosaurus. During five days, young volunteers from all over the Czech Republic helped to clean debris from Pánov site. Originally, the volunteers were planning to help with eliminating invasive species. However, one week before the action a tornado occurred in this area causing lot of damage. This was the reason why volunteers changed their plans and helped with clearing the area from scattered debris, which was blown all over the area. We would like to thank all volunteers for their help as well as the local people who provided background for this action.
